Production Supervisor—

 

Supervising six to 15 direct employees with some indirect employees in other areas.   Leadership, providing direction, decision-making, coaching, and problem-solving abilities required.                                                

 

Duties: 

Monitor employees, prioritize work, achieve quality and quantity daily, confirm safety procedures are followed, maintain charts that show skill levels, address problems and issues with employees when they occur, complete annual focal reviews, and facilitate cross training. Make sure each area is covered by monitoring scheduled and unscheduled PTO. Hold regular monthly employee meetings. Keep management informed of problems or issues, primarily via daily meetings with peers and in MRB meetings. Coach and teach employees so they perform well. (MBWA - management by walking around). Other duties and projects as assigned. Responsible for the shut down procedures, including securing the perimeter by checking all doors and setting alarm, as well as making sure all machinery is shut down and/or turned off.

 

Requirements:  Bachelors degree in business or chemical engineering or equivalent experience.  At least five years experience in manufacturing environment, preferably with semiconductor experience.  At least five years experience in a supervisory role.  Hands-on technical experience in a manufacturing environment.  Proficient in Word and Excel and generating reports off of computer systems.  Knowledge of Total Quality Management and exposure to ISO a plus.

 

 

Metalization/Sputtering Quadrupole Operator—

 

Duties:

Under general supervision, perform moderately complex mechanical assembly and functional inspection of thin-film products. Incoming, in-process and final inspections of thin-film product parts. Chemical cleaning of thin-film product parts. Remove excess material with various filing and polishing tools. Operate ashers, vacuum ovens, IPA driers, acid cleaning baths, sputter machines, plating and maintenance of sputter machines. Clean, package and label parts for shipment to customers. Perform the required operations in a manner that results in the production of quality parts. Prepare the parts for plating. Mask and de-mask parts. Use the computer system to track parts. Assist in training others on procedures, operations and processes. Suggest and implement process changes, ideas to improve productivity and quality. Notify supervisor of any problems that cannot be solved independently. Maintain professional relationships and effectively communicate with co-workers and other departments and with customer. Must follow good clean room procedures.

 

Requirements:

High school diploma, or equivalent. Must have the ability to read and follow prints and procedures. Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions. Must have good manual dexterity. Must have the ability to work on delicate products. Good teamwork is essential. Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices desired. Must be comfortable with working with chemicals. Must be willing to operate sputter machine, including masking and demasking, sputtering, plating and machine maintenance. Must be able and willing to travel for training and/or correspondence with customers. Ability to operate and maintain sputtering machine desired.

 

 

Quality Assurance Supervisor

The QA Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are adhered to in the final QA process.  The Quality Supervisor will work closely with the quality team and lead the quality inspectors through their daily inspection activities under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Minimum High School Diploma, technical school/Associate Degree is a plus. Three to five years supervisory experience. Five or more years experience in Quality Assurance in an inspection environment. Working knowledge of basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, various gages, and low- and high-powered microscopes. Ability to read and understand workmanship standards, military standards.  Ability to interpret test data according to test parameters. Ability to perform First Article Inspection. Computer skills, data entry experience and proven working knowledge of computer usage. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to plan and prioritize jobs according to commit dates and capacity. Ability to follow instructions.

Individual who can prioritize job flows, assess daily commitments, and plan the work load for the inspectors and self at the beginning of the shift.  Someone who is capable of entering quality data/results in the computer, send reports, and achieve basic work on Excel spread sheets. Someone who is technically capable of dispositioning NCR’s and will assist in the RMA process.
